![]() ![]() I don't think the lawsuits would be a big deal, American Gladiators seems to be on TV and there's also the fact that G4 sends a person to Ninja Warrior each year. However, I definitely agree that the "no guaranteed winner" is a great aspect of the show and makes it very different from the typical American programming. Actually, there is a cash prize but it's small enough in value to be a token.quote:That show would never fly here, even if they got past the lawsuits from people falling and hurting themselves on the obstacles. There are no prizes, except for personal pride, and the admiration of your peers. That, plus the fact that nobody is competing against anyone but themselves. Quote:Originally posted by bc:I find that to be one of the best features of the show. with the newer Takeshi Castle episodes from the current (or cancelled) Thailand and Indonesia. lol) So this is a new US series of both Banzuke and Ninja Warrior and also repeats of old Banzuke and Ninja Warrior too. I swear there werent many episodes though. On Unbeatable Banzuke, there's no way in hell I could do most of these things. Havent watched Unbeatable Banzuke since the 00s. With Ninja Warrior, I could actually see how it is done, and can probably do most of the obstacles on there. They had to pick up a barrel (seemed fairly heavy), and transfer it from one end of the see-saw to the other.Has anyone else watched this show? It's freakin insane. I've also seen a humongous see-saw, with one person standing at each end. That person would have to hang there for the whole segment, while the remaining members of the team threw successive members up to other cylinders. The teams had to throw a teammate horizontally up to the cylinders such that they could hang on it upside down. I've seen ones where they had a small team, and there were these large padded cylinders hanging from the ceiling. The third event of the show is usually super crazy. They're just trying to do pushups and situps as fast as they can for a certain amount of time. The second event typically is a head-to-head battle between two guys doing calisthenics. Kinniku Banzuke began as a weekly serialized spinoff of the popular program Sportsman No.1, containing. Banzuke contained over 100 unique events, but is most famously know for containing the first 9 SASUKE tournaments, as well as KUNOICHI 2001. Watch it on Pluto TV - It's Free TV on your Roku device. Kinniku Banzuke known as Unbeatable Banzuke in English language airings, was a Japanese sports variety show that ran from Jto May 4, 2002. ![]() ![]() Another had the competitors balancing a 6 foot metal pole through a course, sorta like "Operation", where the course was electrified. Unbeatable Banzuke, a comedy series is available to stream now. If they fell, or put their feet down, they were out. I've seen others where they had to navigate an obstacle course entirely on their hands. The twist is that the competitors are on stilts. There are tons of events, with only 2 or 3 shown per 30 min episode.Right now, I'm watching an obstacle course, with hurdles and stairs, and treadmills. This one requires skills that very few people have. Has anyone seen this show on G4? It's similar to Ninja Warrior in that it's a crazy japanese obstacle course, but the similarities pretty much end there. ![]()
